||Raise the front end. Apply the brakes and measure the full wheel locks.|
| ||Single wheel hubs and bearings|
||Oil-lubricated hubs, check the oil level. It should be between the indicator lines.|
| ||Front wheel bearing check|
||Use a wheel spinner to check for front-wheel bearing noise. Also check wheel balance using the wheel spinner.|
King-pin wear must not be more than that indicated on the table at the point
you are measuring. This corresponds to a bushing diametrical wear of 2 mm.

Oil-lubricated hubs, single wheels
Oil the bearings only if a bearing has been disassembled
or if the oil is dirty or discoloured. Engine oil type: SAE 30. Rear axle
oil must not be used.
Front-wheel bearing check
If the bearing is noisy, this indicates that the
rollers or races are damaged. Fit new bearings. Use the wheel bearing grease
recommended or fill with oil, if the bearings are of the oil-lubricated type.
