 Tyres
78 Check tyres for damage and wear caused by imbalance, incorrect air pressure and/or incorrect wheel alignment.

Different types of tyre wear

Tyre wear can be caused by abrupt braking, overloading, etc. For a tourist coach driven at high speeds, the tyres must be approved for the speed in question.

The air pressure in the tyres affects the fuel consumption. Pressure at 1 kgf/cm2 below specification will increase fuel consumption by 1 litre/ 100 km.
